THE ROYAL OBSERVATORY, GREENWICH

A school visit to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich and the National Maritime Museum during National Science Week (11th March). It was too windy to observe Saturn (visible in the spring) but we did get photos of the moon through the observatory's 11 inch Meade telescope. Crater- tastic! (Image of the moon courtesy of Master Spike Gowers)
